Matt Parmenter

I'm a graphic designer, an audio engineer, a bass and piano player, and I'm in the process of transplanting to Austin.

I am a problem solver. I’m always looking for a new solution or a more efficient way to do everything. I care deeply about all the work I do, and I want those I work with to feel the same way about their quality of work.

As a designer I've had the good fortune to learn from some world class designers and work on national products. I’ve also had the pleasure of making beautiful packages for independent band CDs, and the satisfaction of creating every aspect of their visual identity. When I'm at home I design one color t-shirt designs for my wife to screen print in her studio. I'm a typography geek.

Prior to moving into the design and audio fields I worked for several years as a network administrator and desktop support tech for Mac and PC at places like Encyclopedia Britannica, Frankel and Cincinnati CityBeat. I've lived in Lansing, Michigan, Chicago, Illinois, Cincinnati, Ohio, and soon, Austin, Texas. I've travelled to France, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy and Spain.

When it comes to my career, what I am now and want to continue to be is an all around creative, working in design, packaging and audio production, preferably all at once.
